For which grades can we seek admission at The Star Global School?

Admissions are open from Nursery to Grade VIII.

How do I register my ward’s name for admission?

Application forms are available on our website or you can take one from the School Office at campus along with the admission form, kindly ensure a photocopy of the registration fee (if applicable) and report card of the previous grade and no dues from the previous school are submitted.

How would students cope with CBSE curriculum if they are from other boards?

The chances of difficulty are very narrow as we have well-informed and experienced staff who ensure skills to overcome any curriculum stress or otherwise. There is not much difference between other (state) boards and CBSE standards, hence we see that students face no challenges in that way.

Can you let us know the eligibility criteria The Star Global School?

TSGS welcomes students from anywhere in the country. As part of the admission process, we select students through an age-adaptive and aptitude-oriented test called Excellence Test (TSGS-ET). After this a personal interview would be conducted with the Head of School for confirming his/her admission into the school.

When does the academic year start at The Star Global School?

The school academic year opens on the first Monday of April every year and continues until March. Students are given a mid-term vacation s during June and in January (as per Govt. orders).

What are the documents required for admission

Completely filled admission form with relevant information.
Transfer Certificate of the previous school.
2 recent passport-size photographsof the child and the parents are guardian as per the form.
A copy of the registration, if done online.
Photocopies of the previous year report card and no dues clearance from the previous school.
Photocopies of the documents as mentioned in the admission form.

How will a student be mentored if he or she faces an academic challenge?

TSGS has well-informed faculty who not only support students but also guide them to right venues to find answers to their questions. They are also made to follow a well-devised regimen of learning pattern to overcome weaknesses and join the mainstream peers. Every week, a test is conducted to identify strengths and challenges of the child’s performance and personalized tutoring is mapped to make the child achieve academic progress. Now with technology our teachers will be able to connect the children online as well.

What is the student-teacher ratio in school?

The ratio in the school is 1:10 and we hope to keep maximum 35 in a section.

How far does the school consider Bullying and Ragging seriously?

Bullying and ragging are strictly prohibited and there is zero tolerance towards this. On the day of orientation, the students are informed about the School, Board, Government andSupreme court rules on the punishment for bullying and ragging. Students are made to read and sign an undertaking that they will not indulge in any such activities and also parents have to give an affidavit/undertaking for the same. We at TSGS follow plenty of safety and security measures to monitor children’s activities.

Are students encouraged to represent sports both at the national & international level?

Yes, students are encouraged to participate and represent in all kinds of sports competitions at the state, national and international level.
